The off-road buggy...

Most double buggies you see in Ireland sit in-line (with the exception of the popular Bugaboo Donkey) but for those looking for an alternative, this  compact off-road side-by-side pushchair is well worth considering, especially for those parents who see themselves venturing off-road in the countryside or brisk-walking through parks. A handlebar brake (similar to a bicycle) is an unusual but welcome addition and will help you keep control of the buggy downhill or at speed.

• Twin carrycot options - Both the Duet Twin Carrycot Plus and Twin Cocoon are sold separately but to the best of our knowledge, they're unique to the Duet. Each twin has their own section of 1 large carrycot, but crucially will be able to see one another thanks to a shared headspace area. This really is excellent.
• Width – the WOW factor, although it looks wide in photos with it’s side-by-side seating, you might be pleased to learn the Mountain Buggy Duet v3 is surprisingly compact at 63cm – pretty much the same width as a lot of single buggies. The magic lies in the snug and compact toddler seats, both of which can support up to 18kg (roughly 3 to 4 years).
• Practicality at its core - this is a no-nonsense buggy. Padded seats, durable and hard-wearing fabrics and a solid chassis - you know the Mountain Buggy Duet will withstand life with 2 toddlers.
